How Sete a Zero plays step by step
Roll a real World Cup squad
Every Sete a Zero roll draws a real national team and World Cup year: Brazil 1970, Italy 2006, Argentina 2022 and many more. The card on the left tells you what came up. If you don't like it, you spend one of your three rerolls.
Pick a valid player
Each open slot only accepts compatible profiles. Missing a fullback? You can't just fall in love with another number ten. Sete a Zero forces you to look at the whole XI and think in 7-0 mode before locking in your pick.
Close your XI and play seven matches
Once all eleven slots are filled, the Sete a Zero engine simulates three group matches plus four knockouts. A pretty team can crash out if it can't hold the line. A humble side can shock the bracket if it respects its roles and chases the 7-0.

One roll, one squad, one call
Every Sete a Zero roll pulls a real squad from a real World Cup. You sign exactly one player before moving to the next roll. No going back, no shortcuts: that's the path to 7-0.
Formation rules everything
You pick 4-3-3, 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 up front. Each slot only accepts compatible positions. If Klose can play right wing, the system lets him; if not, he stays out of the XI.
Classic mode or almanac mode
In classic mode you see every player's rating and pick with full data. In almanac mode ratings are hidden: Sete a Zero leaves only your World Cup memory and your gut feel.
The sim closes the story
No matter the squad, in Sete a Zero the engine has the final word. Three group matches decide if you advance. The knockouts pick the champion. Draws go to penalties. Only a perfect 7-0 crowns you unbeaten.

Tips to get close to 7-0
Prioritise hard slots
Goalkeeper, centre-back and central midfielder decide more than they look on the road to 7-0. If a roll hands you quality in a rare slot, look twice before swapping it for a famous name.
Mind the balance
An XI with five forwards sounds fun, but the sim needs links. Look for passing, recovery, build-up, depth and finishing in credible proportions: 7-0 rewards balance, not free spectacle.
Play to the era
Some squads have sharply defined styles (Brazil 1970, Spain 2010, Netherlands 1974). If you understand the era, you pick players who fit the rhythm even if they aren't the most famous names of the World Cup.
Restart to learn
A failed run still teaches. Change formation, try another style and watch which kind of XI gets closer to 7-0. Three rerolls per Sete a Zero roll are enough if you use them with a clear head.
